Kathleen G. Entwistle

February 22, 1951 - July 26, 2006

Kathleen G. (Conroy) Entwistle., 55, of Pershing Avenue in Swansea passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. She was the former wife of Henry Entwistle of Somerset and the companion of Valdemar Silva of Swansea. Born on February 22, 1951, the daughter of Lauretta (Hebert) Conroy of Fall River and the late John W. Conroy.

Ms. Entwistle was a graduate of the former Sacred Heart Academy in Fall River, she then went on to attend and graduate from Bridgewater State College in 1972 with a Masters degree in Elementary Education. After graduation she worked for the Fall River School Department as a first grade teacher at the James Tansey Elementary School , and then at the Samuel Watson Elementary School for a combined thirty years before retiring in 2004. She enjoyed making crafts, and spending time with her family.

Survivors besides her mother, former husband, and companion are a daughter, Laurie A. Dumont and her husband Steven of Swansea, MA, two sisters Carol Conroy, Kelly Conroy-Rockett, three brothers Steven Conroy, Carl, Conroy, and Daniel Conroy all of Fall River, MA two grandchildren Matthew Dumont and Marissa Dumont both of Swansea, MA and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Conroy.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 10am in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial to follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery Fall River. Calling hours with a video photo album will be on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 from 4-7pm.
