Selma (Feldman) Kane

FALL RIVER, MA – Selma (Feldman) Kane, 96, of Fall River, died Monday, July 26, 2010, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Abraham and Annie (Kanter) Feldman, she was the wife of the late Jacob Feldman.

A 1931 graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Mrs. Kane devoted her life to raising her family. She was a former member of Temple Beth El and the sisterhood at Adas Israel Synagogue.

She is survived by two sons, Leonard R. Kane and Alan M. Kane; two grandchildren, Brian Kane and Laura Kane; and by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edna Tallman, Lillian Ryder, Irving, Philip and David Feldman.

All services and memorial observance for Mrs. Kane were private at the request of the family, and arrangements were entrusted to the care of the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA.
