Frances L. Ebert

Frances L. (Rogers) Ebert, age 90, of Tiffany St. Attleboro died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was  the  wife of the late Lester W. Ebert. Born in Attleboro on November 2, 1915, a daughter of the late Walter and Minnie  (Dunning) Rogers.

Mrs. Ebert had been a life-long resident of Attleboro and a Graduate of Attleboro High School class of 1930. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Attleboro and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Frances had been a sales lady for several area stores including London’s, Big Ben’s and Claire Weaver in Attleboro and the Nifty Nook of North Attleboro for many years before retiring. Her favorite pastimes were Music and  Dancing and she loved to travel.

She leaves two sons, Paul F. and  his  wife  Alexis C. Ebert and  David E. and his wife Eileen A. Ebert both of Attleboro. She also leaves one daughter, Sandra E. Burns of Attleboro, thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, two great -great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Jamie D. Ebert.

Funeral Information

Mrs Ebert’s Funeral will be held on Monday, July 10, 2006 at 10 AM in THE FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main St. (Route 152) in Attleboro. Burial will follow in the family lot in Newell Burying Ground,  1052 West St. South Attleboro. Relatives and friends  are invited to attend. Calling  hours  will be Sunday, July 9, 2006 from 4 to 8 PM in the Foley Chapel.
