LARGO, FL, formerly of TAUNTON – John M. "Chuckie" Nunes, Jr., died in Largo, Florida, suddenly Sunday, January 28, 2007. Born in Taunton, he was a son of Florence (Pierce) Johnson of Middleboro and John M. Nunes of Berkley.

Mr. Nunes was educated in the Taunton Public Schools and was employed at various auto dealers in the Taunton area as an auto mechanic.

Mr. Nunes is survived by his children, Daniel Nunes and Kathleen Nunes of Virginia Beach, VA, Tess Nunes and Leanne Nunes of FL, and Bridget Nunes; he was the brother of Donna Davidson and Deborah DeSantis of Taunton, Diane Grindle of Athol and David Nunes of Middleboro; the grandfather of three, uncle of several, and step-son of Marguerite Nunes of Berkley and Paul Johnson of Middleboro.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, on Saturday at 11:00AM. Visiting hours will be held from 9:00-11:00AM prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton.
