Rita Audrey Palmer, 79 of 52 Aldea Street, Fall River, MA; died Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 23 Patricia Ann Drive, Bristol RI; the home of her daughter. She was the wife of the late Frank Palmer. Born February 1, 1927 in England, she was the daughter of the late Frederick W. and Violet (Peake) Larman.

Mrs. Palmer resided in Fall River since 1955. She was employed as an Admissions Clerk at Charlton Memorial Hospital for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Bristol, RI; she enjoyed gardening, traveling and was devoted to her family.

She leaves four sons, Craig Palmer of Taunton, MA; Mark Palmer of Fall River, MA; David Palmer of Dartmouth, MA and Keith Palmer of Fall River, MA; one daughter Julie S. Caldwell of Bristol RI; four brothers, Peter Larman, Paul Larman, Brian Larman, David Larman all of England; five sisters, Ann Larman, Janet Hickton, Denise Brodvonski, Sandra Kershaw, Pauline Leighton all of England; seven grandchildren, one great grandson, many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Eunice "Sheila" Macri.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 8:30am from the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River to be followed by funeral services at 10:00am at St. Michael's Church, Rte. 114, Bristol RI. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours with video tribute will be held Tuesday from 4-8pm in the funeral home.
