NORTH ATTLEBORO – James E. Campbell, 88, of Park St., North Attleboro, died Friday, October 24, 2008, at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham. Born in North Attleboro , a son of the late G. William & Pearl (Stanton) Campbell, he was the husband of the late Annette (Michel) Campbell.

Mr. Campbell was a member of the Teamsters Union for over thirty-five years before retiring twenty years ago. A resident of North Attleboro for three years, he relocated from Attleboro where he had lived most of his life. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool and horse racing.

Mr. Campbell is survived by his four daughters, Suzanne Haven of Weymouth, MA, Patricia Moelk of North Attleboro, Elaine Beattie of North Attleboro, and Joanne Tritman of Unionville, Connecticut. He was the grandfather of eight, the great-grandfather of four, and left many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George Campbell, Clifford Campbell, Gladys Burns, and Doris Knight.

Funeral Information

His funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at 10:00AM in The FOLEY–HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 S. Main St., Attleboro, with burial to follow in the North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held Monday, October 27, from 5:00–8:00PM in the funeral home.
