John J. Warszawski age 79 of Mt. Hygeia Road, Foster died Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at home after a long battle with Cancer. He was the beloved and cherished husband of 55 years of Louise A.(Holubesko) Warszawski. He was born in Cumberland Hill, RI on September 16, 1927 a son of the late Joseph and Albina (Haczynski) Warszawski .He was baptized on September 25,1927 in St. Stanislaus Church in Woonsocket and received the sacrament of First Holy Communion and Confirmation at St. Joan of Arc Church in Cumberland. He entered into the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony with his wife Louise on September 15, 1951 in St. James Church in Manville. RI. He received the Anointing of the Sick and the last rites of the Catholic Church on Monday September 24, 2006. He had served with the U.S. Navy during WW II and had worked for General Motors in Framingham, MA for 28 years before retiring in 1989. He had lived in Foster for the past 16 years and was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Scituate. Besides his wife he leaves two sons John J. Warszawski,Jr. of Jamestown and David J. Warszawski of Foster. One daughter Mary Louise Maloney of Slatersville. One brother Thomas J. Warszawski of Manville and three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Victoria Mollis and Veronica Warszawski. Funeral InformationHis funeral will be held on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 9 AM from THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. James Church, Division St. Manville. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Road, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are THURSDAY in THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME, from 4 to 8 PM.
