View Tribute and Sign Guestbook FALL RIVER – Evangeline (Ducharme) Kozaka, 87, of Duke Street, passed away Monday, August 4, 2008, at home. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Edward and Rosetta (Fournier) Ducharme, she was the wife of the late Joseph Kozaka.
A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was a member of the Holy Ghost Church in Tiverton, RI, and the former Blessed Sacrament Church in Fall River.
Mrs. Kozaka leaves one daughter, Judith A. Kozaka of Fall River; one son, Andrew Kozaka of Fall River; one sister, Irene Montpelier of Fall River; three grandchildren, Sherry L. Kozaka, Melissa Ayala, Carlin Kozaka, all of Fall River; five great-grandchildren, Cassandra McIntyre, Heather McIntyre, Michael Roberts, Jr., Aaron Robitaille, and Evangeline Ayala, all of Fall River; several nieces and nephews; Drescott Thompson and Steven Briand, sons-in-law; and daughter-in-law, Joyce Kozaka. Mrs. Kozaka was the mother of the late Rosanna M. Thompson and the sister of the late Edward Ducharme, Rita Wright, and Flora Wycislak.
Funeral Information
Her funeral will be held Friday, August 8, 2008, at 8:30AM from THE HEBERT-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 945 S. Main St., Fall River, to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Holy Ghost Church, Judson Street, Tiverton, RI. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Road, Fall River. Calling Hours with video photo album will be held Thursday, August 7, from 5:00-8:00PM in the funeral home.
