View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Roger Silva Caron, 8,1 of Highland Avenue, Fall River, formerly of 45 Kennedy Street, died Monday, October 23, 2006 at Saint Anne's Hospital, he was the husband of Jeanne Lea (Bourdon) Caron. He was born September 4, 1925 in Fall River, MA; the son of the late Joseph and Bella (Campbell) Caron.
Mr. Caron worked for Fall Gas Company as a dispatcher for forty years.
He was a World War II Navy Veteran where he served in the Pacific Theater and was awarded a World War II Victory Medal, American Theatre Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theatre Medal.
He leaves his wife of fifty-nine years, one daughter, Paulette Caron-Andreas of Mansfield, MA; one son, Mark Roger Caron of Wilbraham, MA; one sister, Jacqueline Lockwood of Fall River, one brother, Bertrand Caron of Fall River, MA; two grandson's, Brian Richard Caron of Wilbraham, Ma; and Peter W. Andreas of Mansfield, MA;
Funeral Information
His funeral will be held Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 8:00 am from the HATHAWAY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., FALL RIVER to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Avenue, Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held Thursday morning form 8:00-9:00 am in the funeral Home.
