Barry W. Ambrose

DARTMOUTH – Barry W. Ambrose, 54, of South Dartmouth, died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. Born in Acushnet, he was the son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth M. (Elliott) Ambrose and was raised by the late George and Hazel Ambrose.

Mr. Ambrose lived most of his life in New Bedford before moving to Dartmouth seven years ago. He was a graduate of the Bristol County Agricultural High School in Segregansett and drove a taxi for Yellow Cab for over thirty years.

He is survived by three brothers, Danny Botelho of Fairhaven, Robert Ambrose of Lakeville and George Ambrose of New Bedford; five sisters, Cindy Mastera of Acushnet, Donna Vigeant of North Port, FL, Sandra LeBlond of CT, Leslie Granowski of NY, and Lorna Morse of New Bedford. Mr. Ambrose was the brother of the late Charlotte Misiaszek.
