Margaret "Peggy" Landry

March 10, 1931 - September 19, 2006

Margaret “Peggy” (Potvin) Landry., 75, of North Dartmouth, formerly of Bark Street in Swansea, passed away Tuesday September 19, 2006 at the Country Gardens Nursing Home in Swansea she was the wife of fifty six years to Maurice J. Landry. Born in Fall River, MA on March 10, 1931 the daughter of the late Alfred and Germaine (Bonnoyer) Potvin. She spent her life raising her family, and also was a communicant of Saint Louis de France Church in Swansea. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.

Survivors beside her husband of fifty six years are a daughter Debra Landry of Fall River, MA two sons Michael W. Landry of Swansea, MA Maurice L. Landry of Fall River, MA two sisters Jeanne Pelletier of Fall River, MA Loretta Michaud of Dartmouth, MA three brothers Alfred “Peter” Potvin, Norman Potvin, Robert, and Romeo Potvin all of Fall River, MA three grandchildren and one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late William Potvin.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9am from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am in Saint Louis de France Church 56 Buffington St., Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Fall River. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-8 PM.
