Susan Janet Entin

Susan Janet Entin, age 60, of Fall River, daughter of the late Attorney David Entin and Helen (Horvitz) Entin, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009. Susan was born in Fall River and attended the James Tansey Elementary School and graduated from Riverview-Hopefields School in Sandwich, MA. She worked for many years in her father’s law office in Fall River. Susan resided in Stockbridge, MA before returning to the area in 1998 where she lived at Sakonnet Bay Manor in Tiverton, RI; and the Fall River Jewish Home. Susan was active in the Special Olympics and enjoyed music, playing piano and painting. One of her oil paintings won a Massachusetts award and was on display at the State House in Boston. Susan attended workshops at The Arc and Community Connections in Fall River. Susan is survived by her brother, Attorney Jeffrey S. Entin and his wife Theresa of Bristol, RI; her nephew Jonathan Entin of Santa Barbara, CA; and her niece Julie Entin Bettencourt and her husband Chris, of Fall River.

Funeral Information

Her Funeral Service will be held at 12:30pm on Monday April 20, 2009 at Temple Beth El on 385 High Street in Fall River followed by burial in the Temple Beth El Cemetery in Fall River. Memorial Observance will be on Monday evening at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Jeffrey Entin 45 Seal Island Rd., Bristol, RI, from 5-7pm.
