View Tribute and Sign Guestbook TAUNTON – Beatrice (Tweedy) Campbell, 89, died Monday, May 3, 2010, at her home in Taunton. Born in Dighton, the daughter of the late Howard and Bessie (Tinkham) Tweedy, Beatrice was the former wife of the late Stanley Campbell.
She was educated in the Taunton Public Schools and worked for more than twenty years as a home health aid for the Taunton Visiting Nurse Association. She formerly lived at 83 Kilmer Ave. for over sixty-two years before she moved into the home of her son four years ago. She was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church in Taunton, a former member of the Golden Agers, the Mass. Grange. She enjoyed knitting.
Beatrice was the mother of Richard Campbell and Mary Jo of Rehoboth, and Robert Campbell and Anthony Martin of Taunton. She was the grandmother of Peter Kuylen of Rhode Island and the sister of Lawrence Tweedy of Taunton and the late Charlotte McLure and Talbot Tweedy. She was also the aunt of several.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at a later date in Westville Cemetery.
