View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Theresa (Lambert) Given, 76 of 2446 Highland Avenue, Fall River, formerly of 128 McGowan Street died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Catholic Memorial Home. She was the wife of Allen R. Given. Born April 17, 1930 in Fall River, MA; she was the daughter of the late Henri and Blanche (Benoit) Lambert.
Mrs. Given had been a sewing machine operator for the former Sova Outerwear Company for many years retiring in 1968 and had also worked for many other area Mill Companies. She was a member of the Fleet Reserve Ladies Auxiliary Post # 72 Fall River. A Past Member of the Battleship Sams Club, She enjoyed Traveling and playing bingo.
She leaves her husband of forty-six years, two sisters, Georgette DeRose of Fall River, Lillian Benoit of Tiverton, R.I., Many Nieces and Nephews. Mrs. Given was the sister of the late, Jeannette Lambert, Raymond Lambert, Wilbert Lambert.
Funeral Information
Her funeral will be held Saturday October 7, 2006 at 8:00 am from the HATHAWAY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., FALL RIVER to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in Notre Dame deLourdes Church, 529 Eastern Avenue. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Road. Calling Hours will be held Friday from 4:00-8:00 pm in the Funeral Home.
