Dorothea M. Hannigan

Dorothea M.(Hilton) Hannigan, died at her home March 14, 2006 after a period of failing health. Born in Pawtucket,RI daughter of the late Charles and Doris (Bryant) Hilton. She is the widow of William Hanningan. Educated in Pawtucket Schools she is a 1952 Graduate of the Sturdy Hospital School of Nursing. She worked over 40 years in the Emergency Room at Sturdy Hospital from where she retired. A Dighton resident since 1960 she is a communicant of St Joseph's Church in North Dighton. She was a member of the Dighotn Seniors, Dighton Dandilions and Red Hat Society.

She is the mother of Cheryl Fostin of North Dighton and sister of Richard Hilton of Cumberland, RI and Charles Hilton,Jr of Port St. Lucie,FL.; step mothr of Carol Baptiste of Rehoboth and step grandmother of Christine LaMothe of Berkley.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Joseph's Church, North Dighton on Friday, March 17, 2006 at 10AM. Interment St Joseph's Cemetery, Taunton,.
