Veronica M. Shearstone

RAYNHAM – Veronica M. (Bousquin) Shearstone, 90, died in Longmeadow of Taunton on Thursday, August 23, 2007, after a period of failing health. Born in Taunton, a daughter of the late Albert and Mary E. (Fitzpatrick) Bousquin, she was the wife of the late Eric G. Shearston.

Mrs. Sheraston was educated in the Taunton Public Schools and was a communicant of Holy Family Church in East Taunton. She was a resident of Raynham for over fifty-two years.

She is survived by her son, Donald Shearstone and his wife Diana of Rochester. She was the grandmother of Amy Vermette, Peter Shearstone and Todd Shearstone, and the great-grandmother of Courtney, Matthew, Christopher and Mia. She was also the sister of Marguerite “Jean” Shealy of Taunton, Charles Bousquin of Hampton, NH, and was the also the sister of the late Rita Silvia, Diana De Lawrence, John and Albert Bousquin, and the aunt of several. She was also the mother of the late Ann W. Briggs of Yarmouthport, MA.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Family Church, East Taunton, on Thursday, August 30, 2007, at 10:00AM. Interment of her cremains will follow in St James Cemetery, East Taunton. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
