View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Bernadette E. “Bunny” Valois age 93 of Hazebrouck Street, Cumberland, RI died Tuesday December 19, 2006 in the Oakland Grove Nursing Home in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Normand C. Valois, Sr. She was born in Waltham, MA on May 15, 1913 a daughter of the late Joseph and Georgiana (Landry) Levasseur.
She had lived in Cumberland for the past 70 years and was a communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church in Cumberland. In her early years she had been an assembler for the Texas Instruments Company of Attleboro for several years until retiring in 1976 and later was a devoted mother and homemaker.
She leaves two sons Normand C. Valois,Jr. of Woonsocket and Paul J. Valois of North Port, FL. and one daughter Doreen A. Valois and her fiancé Daniel A. Morand of Cumberland. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert, Leon, George, Edmond, Edward and Clara Levasseur and Alice Levesque.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family at 9 AM on Friday December 29, 2006 followed by a Memorial Service in celebration of her life at 10 AM in THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket, RI. Burial will follow in the Family Lot in St. James Cemetery, Old River Road, Manville.
