View Tribute and Sign Guestbook ATTLEBORO – Dwight E. Manton, 61, of Linden St., Attleboro, died on Friday, September 28, 2007, in the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Boston, a son of the late Albert and Alice (Patten) Manton, he lived in Attleboro for forty-five years.
Mr. Manton was employed as a plater for the Marathon Company of Attleboro for twenty-five years before retiring due to illness. He was active in Pop Warner Football and umpired Little League Baseball in Attleboro. He was an avid bowler, raised Greyhounds for racing and had been a Champion Base Drummer in Al’s Royal Cadet’s in Attleboro.
He leaves four brothers, Richard, Gordon, Dana and Bradford Manton and one sister, Sandra L. Hall, all of Attleboro; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
