Lucille M. Laferriere

February 24, 1925 - November 02, 2005

Lucille M. Laferriere age 80 of Rio Villa  Drive, Punta Gorda, FL. Formerly of Maple St. Woonsocket, died Wednesday, November 2, 2005 in the Charlotte Regional Medical Center in  Punta Gorda. She was born in Woonsocket on February 24, 1925 a daughter of the late Wilfrid and Dora Godon-Vallee Laferriere.  

She had worked as an office manager for the Harold Holt Insurance Agency in Providence until she moved to Punta Gorda where she worked as an office manager for the  Smith Insurance Agency until her retirement in 1987. She was a communicant of  the Sacred Heart Church in Punta Gorda.

She leaves her twin  sister  Therese V. Laferriere  of Punta Gorda, FL and two sisters in law Lucille Laferriere of Woonsocket and  Gertrude Laferriere of Johnston and several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was  the sister of the late  Maurice W., Laurent R.,  and Roger O. Laferriere.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Precious Blood Church,  94  Carrington Avenue. Woonsocket on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 10  AM. Burial will  follow  in  Precious Blood  Cemetery, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Arrangements by THE MENARD  FUNERAL  HOME,  127  Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket.
Calling  hours are Sunday from 2 to 5 PM.
