View Tribute and Sign Guestbook EAST TAUNTON – Theresa S. (Dube) Gagnon, 77, died at her residence Sunday evening, July 19, 2009, surrounded by her loving husband and family. Born and educated in Caribou, ME, the daughter of the late Theodore and Lillian (Lajoie) Dube, Theresa was well known as a caring person who opened her heart and home to any who needed assistance.
A resident of East Taunton since 2002, she had previously resided in Salem, NH, and Jamaica Plain, MA. Theresa was communicant of Holy Family Church in East Taunton. She had been employed as a cook at the Jamaica Plain Nursing Home, retiring in 1999. She enjoyed scrap booking, dancing, crocheting, playing card games and bowling.
She was the wife of Patrick M. Gagnon of East Taunton for more than fifty-nine years and the mother of Danny Gagnon and his wife Linda of Milton, Steven Gagnon of South Carolina, Ricky Gagnon of Dedham, Lorina Iverson and her husband William of Raynham, Brenda Gagnon of Los Angeles, CA, and Theresa Gagnon of Marshfield. She was the grandmother of eleven and the great-grandmother of three. Theresa was the sister of Gerald Dube of Saco, ME, and Harold Dube, Donald Dube, Stella Hodsdon, all of Caribou, ME, Richard Dube of Georgia, and Maynard Dube of Rockland. She was also the sister of the late Anita Knapp, Rose Jill and Viloa Michaud.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Church, East Taunton, Thursday, July 23, 2009, at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Cedar Knoll Cemetery, East Taunton.Visiting hours will be Wednesday, July 22, in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, from 5:00-8:00PM.
