RAYNHAM – Robert A. Perry, Sr., 73, died Friday, March 5, 2010, in Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Born in North Dighton, the son of the late Manuel and Alice (Souza) Perry, he was the husband of Hilda (Lawrence) Perry.

A resident of Raynham for over forty years, Mr. Perry was a retired security officer for the Boston Mutual Insurance Co. in Canton for ten years; prior to that, he was the plant manager for Litecontrol Co. in Hanson; and for over twelve years he was an attendant at the former Paul A. Dever State School in Taunton. He enjoyed fishing and golfing.

Robert was the father of Sandra Daley and her husband Michael of Taunton, Robin Perry of Raynham, Brenda Silvia of Middleboro, Albert Lacy and his wife Deborah of Montana, Manuel Perry and his wife Kimberly of New Hampshire, and Robert A. Perry, Jr., and his wife Alena of New Hampshire. He was the grandfather of fourteen and the great-grandfather of eleven. He was also the brother of Delia Timmons and her husband Robert of Arizona, Eleanor Daniels of Texas and Wayne Perry of Taunton, as well as the uncle of several.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 10:00AM, with interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, March 9, from 4:00-8:00PM in the funeral home.
