Willard E. “Bill” Paull, 94, passed away at Marion Manor, on November 10, 2017.
Born in Taunton, MA, son of the late Ernest and Evelina Lee (Smith) Paull. Willard was raised primarily in Pawtucket, RI; he joined the Army in 1944 and fought in the Battle of the Bulge; for 47 years he worked for Okonite as a cable maker and after his retirement he worked part time for Shaw’s and Market Basket. Willard enjoyed boating, fishing, farming and gardening, he raised chickens and liked to visit the family camp, in Maine. Most of all, he proudly, took care of and raised his family.
Willard is survived by his wife Eleanor Rose (Reagan) Paull; one daughter Irene Mae Paull of Taunton; four sons, Peter Lee, Wesley Albert, Patrick Stuart and his wife Kimberly and William Morton and his wife Peggy Paull, all of Berkley; seven grandchildren, Erica, Sybil, Jonathan, Andrew, James, Emma, and Alexander; three great grandchildren, Sarah, Alastair, and Serenity. Willard was also the father of the late Carole Ann (Paull) Hogan and brother to the late Theodore, John, Robert, and Stuart Paull.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at 11:00 am, in the Crapo Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton, followed by burial with Military Honors in the Berkley Common Cemetery.
Visiting hours for Mr. Paull will be held Tuesday, November 14, from 4-7 pm.
