View Tribute and Sign Guestbook TAUNTON – Carlene M. Albert-Balderrama, 53, died at her home on Duffy Dr., Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Born in Eagle Lake, Maine, the daughter of the late Jack Albert and Rella Boucher, she was the wife of John Balderrama.
After leaving Eagle Lake, Mrs. Albert-Balderrama lived in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where she met her husband. They moved to Dallas, TX, and then to Hampton Beach, NH, before settling in Taunton eighteen years ago. She made her niche in Taunton, taking classes at the Taunton Beauty Academy. She then worked for MacDonald Moving Company in Raynham and then as a saleswoman for Classic Chrysler in Raynham.
Mrs. Albert-Balderrama was a communicant of Holy Family Church in East Taunton. To people who knew her, Carlene was a very religious and spiritual person who always kept an open mind about things and always found a way to make the most of any situation. She loved to meet new friends and wanted to keep those around her smiling. Carlene was a very loving person and would do anything for anybody and even in her death, there is abundant proof that her family meant the world to her and she will always be remembered by them as a loving mother, loving wife and woman who would put her family before herself at all costs. The warmth, love and compassion that Carlene brought into the lives of anyone she has ever met will live on in the hearts of those who will miss and love her. She was to many people who were close to her an angel.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Jamie Balderrama of Taunton. She was the sister of Conney Tibbetts, Jacqueline Saucier and Diane Laveru, all of Maine, and the sister of the late Rodger, John, Leroy and Patrick Albert. She was the daughter-in-law of Ignacho and Virginia Couples Balderrama of New Mexico.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, July 31, 2008, in Holy Family Church, Middleboro Ave., East Taunton at 10:00AM.
