Annie May (Pierce) DeMoia, age 91, of East Hodges St. Norton died Tuesday at home. She was the wife of the late John Marshall,Sr. and the late Richard DeMoia, She was born in North Attleboro on February 15,1915 a daughter of the late Edward A. and Euphemia M. (Ingraham) Pierce.

She had lived in Attleboro for over 65 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Attleboro for sixty years. She was a former member of the PEAL Club and the Royal Travelers of Attleboro. Annie had been the assistant Tax collector for the city of Attleboro for twenty years before retiring in 1980.

She leaves two sons John Marshall,Jr. of Johnson City, TN and Thomas E. Marshall of Norton. One daughter Kathleen A. Siok of North Kingston, RI. One brother Alfred A. Pierce of Farmington,ME, three grandchildren and three great grand children and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late James and Edward A. Pierce,Jr. and Minnie A. Wakefield and Mildred Phillips.

Funeral Information

Her Funeral officiated by the Rev. Dr. John Fisk will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM in THE FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main St. (Route 152) in Attleboro. Burial will follow in the family lot in Hillside Cemetery, South Main St. Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may visit with the family in the FOLEY CHAPEL from 9:30 to 10:30 before the service.
