ATTLEBORO – Harriet F. Scarfo, 86, of Lexington Avenue, Attleboro, died Friday, May 11, 2007, in the Golden Living Center (Bristol) in Attleboro. Born in Attleboro, a daughter of the late Harry and Lucy (Horton) Keim, she was married to Joseph A. Scarfo for sixty-four years. A lifelong Attleboro resident, educated in the Attleboro Public Schools, Mrs. Scarfo was a member of All Saints Church in Attleboro. She worked as an assembler for the L. G. Balfour Company of Attleboro for many years before retiring. She loved flowers and all animals; her favorite pastime was reading. Besides her husband, she leaves three grandchildren, Michael W. and his wife Melissa Fontaine, Christopher J. and his wife Maria Fontaine, and Tracie M. and her husband Edward Donato; six great-grandchildren, Zachery, Garrett, Krysta, Michaela, Morgan and Joshua; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Larry Keim, Alfred and Frank Fritcher and Helen Beard. Funeral InformationHer funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at 10:00AM in THE FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main St. (Route 152), in Attleboro. The Rev. Lance Giuffrida will officiate. Burial will follow in the North Purchase Cemetery, 825 North Main St., Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
