View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Jeanette Doris (LaPlante) Mansfield, 84, of 50 Wilbur Avenue, Somerset, formerly of 41 Garden Avenue, Somerset, MA and Fall River died Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing Center, Somerset, She was the wife of the late Lawrence Eugene Mansfield. Born February 10, 1922 in Fall River, MA; she was the daughter of the late Louis and Amelia (Antaya) LaPlante.
Mrs. Mansfield had worked for the Raytheon Company in Portsmouth, RI; Dighton, MA; Norwood, MA; as an assembler for eighteen years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Swansea Seniors.
She Is survived by one son, Dean L. Mansfield of Swansea, MA; six grand children, six great grand children, one nephew, and one niece. Mrs. Mansfield was the mother of the late Donald J. Mansfield and sister of the late Ronald Laplante, Loretta Mazzoni, and Estelle Saucier.
Funeral Information
Calling hours will be held Saturday, June 10, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-9 in the HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., SOMERSET. A Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 pm. Burial will be private.
