Justin R. DowneyApril 15, 2014 View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Justin R. Downey, 29, formerly of Fairhaven, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Born in New Bedford, the son of Michelle Bergeron of New Bedford and the late James R. Downey, he lived most of his life in Fairhaven. Justin drove truck for various area construction and trucking companies. He was an avid fan of fantasy football which he enjoyed playing with his friends. He is survived by his mother Michelle Bergeron and her soul mate Glenn Owens, Sr. and his family, Glenn, Jr., Taiice and Ebony; a son, Justin R. "JJ" Downey, Jr.; his fiancé, Lisa L. Vinjerud and her children, Odin and Freya; grandparents, Dianne Clark and her husband Richard of Fairhaven; great grandmother, Dorothy Best of Fairhaven; aunts and uncle, Steve, Sharon, Joanne, Diane and Carol; a half sister, Elizabeth and her husband of Gainsville, FL; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Justin was also predeceased by his grandparents, Edward and Jacqueline Downey; and great grandfather, George "Dah" Best.
