Sharon Ann (Millette) Bellerive

TAUNTON / NORTH DIGHTON – Sharon Ann (Millette) Bellerive, 59, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late John and Julie (Prat) Millette, she and her husband Leslie Bellerive made their home on Lincoln Ave. in North Dighton for more than twenty-five years before moving to Taunton a year ago.

Mrs. Bellerive was employed as a waitress in the New Bedford area at various restaurants for many years and later worked in the cafeteria at Princess House in Dighton. She was a member of the Student Senate at Bristol Community College in Fall River while she attended college at Durfee Campus. She was an avid reader, enjoyed doing mosaic, beading, gardening and going to flea markets.

Besides her husband, she is survived by the daughters, Carrie Ann Millette and Jim Watson of North Dighton and Thersea Lacerda and her husband Scott Lacerda of Somerset. She was the stepmother of Elisa Kearn of Braintree and Michael Bellerive and his wife Betty Bellerive of Bridgewater. She was the grandmother of Daniel, Sam, Jesse, Paige B. Arden, Sydney and Paige M., and the sister of John Millette and his wife Karen Millette of New Bedford.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for her cremains Tuesday, May 26, 2009, from 6:00-8:00PM in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton. Interment of her cremains will be in the Riverside Cemetery, North Dighton Wednesday, May 27, at 10:00AM.
