Peter F. Zanet

June 27, 1925 - January 26, 2007

CHICAGO – Peter F. Zanet, 81, of North Lakeview Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, died Friday, January 26, 2007. Born in Clifton, New Jersey, June 27, 1925, he was a son of the late Frank and Rose (Schweighardt) Zanet.

He was a copy writer for a medical publishing company and worked for the Frank J. Corbet Advertising Company in Chicago, as well as the Seiber – McIntyre Company for many years .

Mr. Zanet was a member of the U. S. Air Force, serving in WWII as a Bombardier. He was a graduate of the Clifton (N.J.) High School Class of 1942, also attended N.Y.U. He resided in Chicago for more than forty years, having moved there from New Jersey. Mr. Zanet was an avid traveler and enjoyed theatre and Broadway music.

He is survived by three nephews and one niece. He was the brother of the late Rosemarie Coiro.

His funeral service will be held Monday, February 5, at 1:00PM in the HATHAWAY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Tiverton R.I.
