SOMERSET – Anne (Angell) Waring, 85, a lifelong resident of Somerset, passed away on April 30, 2008, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. Born in East Providence, RI, the daughter of the late Lucius and Ruth (Price) Angell, she was the wife of the late Byron Waring.

She spent her life raising her family, and was a member of the Church of Our Saviour (Episcopal) in Somerset. Mrs. Waring was a very athletic person and a local sports enthusiast, enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Waring leaves four sons, Byron Waring of Pine Island, FL, Richard Waring of Sarasota, FL, Robert Waring of Warwick, RI, and Mark Waring of Swansea, MA; a brother, William Angell of Napels, FL; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Bradford C. Waring and the sister of the late Ruth Baker.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Saturday, August 16, 2008, at 10:00AM in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
