Violet W. Delano

TAUNTON – Violet W. Delano, 79, died on Thursday, July 12, 2007, in the Life Care Center of Raynham. Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Merton Delano and the late Florence (Reynolds) Tourigny, she was an attendant at the former Paul A. Dever State School in Taunton, retiring in 1990.

A 1948 graduate of Oliver Ames High School in North Easton, she had been a Taunton resident since 1952.

She leaves a brother, Louis B. Delano and his wife Elaine of Seekonk; and three nephews, Brain Delano of North Attleboro, Jeffrey Delano of Griswold, CT, and Steven Delano and his wife Lynn of Pawtucket, RI, and their families.
