View Tribute and Sign Guestbook FALL RIVER – Roland P. Rioux, 80, of Canal Street in Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He was the husband of the late Mary (LaFleur) Rioux. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Charles and Rose (Jalbert) Rioux.
Mr. Rioux worked in the garment industry in Fall River for many years as a presser before retiring several years ago. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods, and was a Yankee fan.
He leaves three daughters, Dr. Nancy R. Dempsey of Fall River, Susan A. Owens of Plymouth, and Kimberly A. Lundquist of Somerset; a son, Robert R. Rioux of Somerset; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dempsey, Brynne and Kelsey Alexander, and Ashley and Amy Rioux. He was the father of the late Karen A. Rioux and brother of the late Albert Rioux.

All arrangements have been entrusted to the HATHAWAY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to call on the family on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, from 5:00-7:00PM in the funeral home. Funeral and burial services will be private at the request of the family.
