View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Marion I. (Needham) Westgate, 90 years old, died on October 14, 2006 in Morton Hospital, Taunton, after a short Illness. Born in Detroit, MI daughter of the late Alfred and Gladys (Marshall) Needham she was a 1955 graduate of Taunton High School. She was the dining hall matron at Bristol County Agricultural High School for many years. She has served on the Board of Registrars of the Town of Berkley for over 58 years and is still on the Board at the time of her death. She was honored by the Town of Berkley in 1989 as the Citizen of the Year.
She was the wife of the late Daniel W. Westgate,Sr late of Berkley. She is survived by her step-son Daniel W. Westgate,Jr and his wife Catherine; step grandchildren Christine Barboza and Daniel Westgate, III; step great grandchildren Debra La Bonte and Kate Barboza and one great great grandson Jesse Borden,all of Berkley and a grand niece and a grand nephew.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service which will be held in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home , 350 Somerset Ave, ( Route 138 South) Taunton on Thursday morning at 11AM. Visiting hour , 10 to 11AM ,prior to the service. Interment in Hunt Cemetery, East Providence, RI.
