View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Earl H. Hadley, 89 of Water Street Assonet died Sunday, January 1, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Edith (Cockroft) Hadley. He was born in Fall River Massachusetts on July 22 1916 a son of the late Josiah & Bertha ( Hart) Hadley.
He was the Founder of the Assonet Inn which he owned and operated since 1946 until present. He was a US Army Veteran. He has lived in Assonet since 1945 Coming from Fall River. He was a member of the United Church of Assonet. A Mason for over 53 years with the King Phillip Lodge of Fall River. He was a member of the American Legion for 23 years in the Berkley lodge
He is survived by 4 sons Timm Hadley of Assonet, Tedd Hadley of Fall River, Todd Hadley of Raynham, Tomm Hadley of Dartmouth. 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Plummer Hadley, Elmer Hadley, and also the Late Ruth Cox.
Funeral Information
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 9,2006 at 10:00am in the United Church of Assonet, 9 North Main St Assonet MA , burial will be private. Arrangements by the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA. Calling hours and flowers are omitted.
