Elizabeth M. (Caron) Fiola, 86, of Hailes Hill Road Swansea, died Friday at home. She was the wife of the late Armand J. Fiola. She was born September 11,1920 in Fall River a daughter of the late Moise J. & Augustine Marie (Levesque) Caron.

She was a Seamstress for the A&A Manufacturing Company for over 30 years before retiring in 1982. She has been a lifelong Swansea resident, a parishioner of St. Louis deFrance Chuch. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union ( I.L.G.W.U), member of the Ladies of St Ann's Sodality, VFW Ladies Auxillary of Somerset. A member of the Slick Chicks Chapter of the Red Hat Society. She made many Raggedy Ann Dolls over the years.

She is survived by 2 daughters Rita Hill of Swansea, Claire Laubenstein of Kingstown RI, and her adopted family Rob Webb of New Hampshire, Marie & Susie Lewis of Blackstone MA, Irene Matton of Swansea, 8 grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and friends. She was the sister of the late Zotique Caron, Victor Caron, Roland Caron, Annette Souliere, Anna Levesque. She was the mother of the late Rolande Lloyd.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00am from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA, with a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Louis deFrance Church, Buffington St Swansea, burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Fall River. Calling hours Monday from 4 - 8 pm.
