View Tribute and Sign Guestbook SOMERSET, MA – Lucille L. (Levesque) Kelly, 54, of Somerset, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at her residence. Born in Fall River, MA, the daughter of George R. Levesque of Somerset, and the late Rita (Barcelou) Levesque, she was the wife of Kevin C. Kelly, with whom she shared a thirty-one year marriage.
Lucille was a graduate of Somerset High School with the Class of 1974. She also graduated from Bryant College in 1976 with an associate’s degree in business. Mrs. Kelly worked for Eastern Utilities as executive secretary for twelve years. She then went to work for the Somerset School department for eighteen years as the secretary for the Chace Street Elementary School.
Lucille enjoyed spending time with family and friends, taking trips to the beach, bicycling, skiing and practicing yoga.
In addition to her husband and her father, Mrs. Kelly is survived by two sons, Jared J. Kelly and his wife Polina of Attleboro, MA, and Matthew K. Kelly and his wife Janelle of Leominster, MA; four sisters, Madeleine E. Leite and her husband Paul; Jeannine I. Levesque, Vivianne R.L. Costa and her husband William, Suzanne L. Ferreira and her husband Bruce, all of Somerset, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Her funeral service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2009, at 9:00AM from the HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME for FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Saint Louis de France Church, 56 Buffinton St., Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private at the request of the family.
