Barbara F. (Hall) Johnson, 86, of Attleboro died Monday, April 17, 2006 in the Ridgewood Court Nursing Home in Attleboro. She was the widow of the late Albert R. Johnson, Sr. They were married in June of 1942.
Born May 31, 1919 in Fall River the daughter of the late Benjamin E. and Annett “Etta” F. (Korzeneski) Hall, she lived in Portsmouth, RI before moving to Attleboro approximately 60 years ago. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, Attleboro.
Mrs. Johnson graduated from Roger High School in Newport, RI in 1937. She loved being a homemaker. She also loved flowers and candy. Her family will remember her as a devoted mother.
She is survived by a son, Albert R. Johnson, Jr. and his wife Kenyetta of Attleboro; a daughter, Linda Barrett and her husband Francis of Attleboro; a sister, Mary Louise Therien Nowlan of Portsmouth, RI; eight grandchildren, Richard J., Jr., and Thomas E. Johnson, Erica Hubert, Scott A. and Christopher M. Brogan, Mark F. Barrett, and Amy E. and Leah S. Johnson; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Richard J. Johnson and the late Patricia A. Brogan Grenon. She was the sister of the late Benjamin E. Hall, Jr. and the late Joanne Packard.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend her funeral Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 8:00 AM from the Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 160 Park Street, Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 155 N. Main St., Attleboro. Interment will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Rehoboth. Calling hours will be Friday, April 21, 2006 from 5-8 PM.
