Shirley C. Gifford

Shirley C. (Monast) Gifford., 74, of Stetson Street in Fall River passed away Wednesday February 1, 2006 at her residence she was the wife of fifty three years to Ronald A. Gifford. Born in Fall River, MA on March 2, 1931 the daughter of the late Roland and Anita (Roy) Monast, she was a graduate of BMC Durfee High school in Fall River. Mrs. Gifford worked as a lab technician for several years at Truesdale Clinic, and then worked for the Fall River school department for over twenty years as a teacher aide retiring in 2003. She was a communicant of Holy Name Church in Fall River.
Survivors beside her husband are a daughter Rhonda S. Bremer of Overland Park, Kansas a son Robert Gifford of Swansea, MA a sister Jo-Ann Audet of Tiverton, RI and six grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9am from the HATHAWAY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., FALL RIVER followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am in Holy Name Church 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery Fall River.
