SWANSEA – Allan M. Warner, Jr., 56, of Hortonville Road, Swansea, died Monday, August 17, 2009, at home. Born in Fall River, a son of Doris (McPhearson) Warner of Swansea and the late Allan M. Warner, Sr., he was the husband of Linda (Southworth) Warner.

Mr. Warner was the owner/operator of the former Lovett’s Market in Swansea for over twenty years before going to work in retail at KMart in 2001. A Swansea resident for nearly fifty years, having come from Little Compton, RI, he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fall River. He enjoyed bird watching, photography, and using his computer.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Craig Warner of Swansea; two daughters, Kacie Warner of West Hartford, CT, and Jodie Warner of Swansea; a brother, Richard and his wife Janice Warner of Rehoboth; two sisters, Barbara and her husband John Arruda of Swansea, and Judith and her husband Arthur Orzechowski of Swansea; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

His funeral service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2009, at 11:00AM in THE HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA. Cremation will follow the service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be Friday, August 21, from 4:00-8:00PM.
