Margaret C. ( Hatcher) Abbey 80, of Rockland Road Court Auburn MA, died Thursday, June 15, 2006 at her daughter's home in Fall River. She was the wife of the late Donald C. Abbey. She was born April 7 1926 in Mt. Airy North Carolina a daughter of the late Thomas & Sara Myrtle ( Jarrell) Hatcher. She was a homemaker.

She has lived in Auburn for 56 years, she enjoyed traveling, reading, and gardening.
She was a caregiver for her husband for the last 10 years of his life.

She is survived by 2 sons Scott Abbey of Scotsdale Arizona, Lee Abbey of Danville Vermont, a daughter Lynn C Abbey of Fall River, a sister Edna Griffith of Southport North Carolina, grandmother of Erica Lee Abbey of Merrimac MA. She was the sister of the late Lucy Curry
