She was the wife of the late Donald C. Abbey. She was born April 7 1926 in Mt. Airy North Carolina a daughter of the late Thomas & Sara Myrtle ( Jarrell) Hatcher. She was a homemaker.
She has lived in Auburn for 56 years, she enjoyed traveling, reading, and gardening.
She was a caregiver for her husband for the last 10 years of his life.
She is survived by 2 sons Scott Abbey of Scotsdale Arizona, Lee Abbey of Danville Vermont, a daughter Lynn C Abbey of Fall River, a sister Edna Griffith of Southport North Carolina, grandmother of Erica Lee Abbey of Merrimac MA. She was the sister of the late Lucy Curry
