TAUNTON – Kevin F. Vargas, Jr., 23, died Sunday, February 24, 2008. Born in Greenfield, MA, the son of Tine (Rose) Boucher of Taunton, Kevin Vargas, Sr., of Vermont, and the step-son of Raymond Boucher of Taunton, he was the companion of Kyla Carroll of New Bedford.

Mr. Vargas was employed as a concrete form manufacturer and enjoyed playing video games.

He was the father of Domnick Carroll-Vargus and Eddy Carroll-Vargas, both of New Bedford; the brother of Kassey Boucher of Taunton and Kristen Boucher of Wareham; and was the brother of his best friend, the late Shawn Vargas. He was also the grandson of Judy and Anthony Rose of Taunton, Kathleen and Robert Boucher of Taunton, and Cathleen Burges of Florida. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

His funeral, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, Monday, March 3, 2008, at 11:00AM. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2:00-6:00PM in the funeral home. Interment will be in Mayflower Hill Cemetery.
