View Tribute and Sign Guestbook FALL RIVER, MA – Mariana M. (Miranda) Pacheco, 81, of Fall River died Friday, February 12, 2010, at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Jose C. and Maria Julia (Medeiros) Miranda, she was the wife of the late Antonio S. Pacheco, Jr.
Mrs. Pacheco worked as a machine operator for Anderson-Little for over forty years, retiring several years ago. Mariana enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved the pets she had over the years.
She is survived by a son, David Pacheco and his wife Pamela Mahoney-Pacheco of Fall River; three grandchildren, Dorothy Mahoney-Pacheco, Anthony Mahoney-Pacheco and Mary Mahoney-Pacheco; and by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Miranda, Mariana Miranda, Helen DeMello, Jose, Antone, Manuel and John Miranda.
Funeral Information
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at 9:30am from the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in Espirito Santo Church, 311 Alden St., Fall River, with burial to follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be Monday, February 15, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00pm in the funeral home.
