View Tribute and Sign Guestbook SOMERSET – William R. "Bill" Henderson, 57, of Garden Avenue, Somerset, died Friday, April 16, 2010, at home. Born in Fall River, a son of Francis N. Henderson of Somerset, and the late Verna (Snyder) Henderson, he was the owner/operator of Henderson Leasing.
Bill was a Somerset resident for more than years, after relocating from Swansea. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour in Somerset. A Harley Davidson enthusiast, Bill also enjoyed camping, and trucking.
Besides his father, he is survived by two sons, William F. “Billy” Henderson of Swansea and Douglas R. Henderson of Tiverton, RI; his long time companion, Mary Rios of New Bedford; two brothers, John Henderson of Dighton, MA, and Francis Henderson, Jr., of North Smithfield, RI; three sisters, Verna Ponte of Dighton, Pamela Duckett of Tiverton, and Beverly Gregory of Fall River; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of Sabrina, William F., Jr., and Arianna.
