View Tribute and Sign Guestbook SOMERSET – Mary Amaral, 76, of Allardice Rd., passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2007, at the Highland Rehabilitation Center in Fall River. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Philomena Campion.
Mrs. Amaral worked as a seamstress for Beacon Garment and at Clifton Nursing Home and retired several years ago. She was a communicant of Saint Louis de France Church in Swansea and enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Amaral is survived by a son, Stephen Amaral and his wife Pilar of Okatie, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Adam Amaral and Maya Capstick; and two great-grandchildren, Haley and Alec Capstick.
Funeral Information
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007, at 8:00AM from the HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME for FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM in Saint Louis de France Church, 56 Buffinton St., Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00PM.
