John B. L'Heureux

View Tribute and Sign Guestbook John B. L'Heureux, died on November 22, 2006, his 85th birthday in Morton Hospital following a period of failing health. Born and educated in Ayer MA, he was the son of the late John and Gertrude (Berg) L'Heureux.
He was a retired Color Matcher at the former Geliech Tannery in Taunton, where he worked for over 35 years retiring in 1976. He had been a resident of Taunton since 1945 and a communicant of Annunciation of the Lord Church. He was a US Army veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific area of combat. He enjoyed fishing, reading, gardening chopping wood and was a original member of the Atlantic Fish Club in Taunton.
He is survived by his wife Theresa (Ricard) L'Heureux and his children Michael L'Heureux of aTaunton; Armand L'Heureux and his wife Madelyn of Taunton, John L'Heureux and Flori La Fontaine of Warwick, RI and Dolores Rose and her husband Roger of Swansea. Grandfather of nine and great grandfather of four; brother of Ethel Christy of FL and the late Ruth Buckely and Richard L'Heureux.
Funeral Information
A Funeral service will be held in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave, (Route 138 South) Taunton on Saturday at 10:30AM. Visiting hours from 9 to 10:30 prior to the service Interment St Joseph's Cemetery.
