David T. Pacheo

NEW BEDFORD – David T. Pacheco, 56, of the Taber Mill Apartments in New Bedford, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010, in St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford after a long illness. Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Manuel T. and the late Evelyn (Mendonca) Pacheco, he lived most of his life in Dartmouth where he was a former communicant of St. Mary’s Church. David was a graduate of Dartmouth High School. He enjoyed going for rides and spending time with his sister and nephew Peter.

He is survived by his sister, Evelyn Richard and her husband Roger of Fairhaven; their two sons, Peter Richard and Gary Richard and his wife Jillian and their three children, all of Fairhaven; and several nieces and nephews. David was the brother of the late Elaine Pinto and Inez Soto.

His calling hours will be Thursday, May 20, 2010, from 4:00-8:00 PM in THE FAIRHAVEN FUNERAL HOME, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven, with a service at 7:00 PM. Cremation will follow.
