NORTH ATTLEBORO – Alfred P. Nerney, 71, of South Washington St., North Attleboro, MA, died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at home. Born in Attleboro, a son of the late Paul H. and Louise G. (Hochberg) Nerney, he lived in North Attleboro for the past six years.

Mr. Nerney resided most of his life in Attleboro, where he worked in the Maintenance Department of the Attleboro School Department for many years before he retired in 2006.

He leaves one sister, Sheila A. Nerney of North Attleboro, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Paul, Jerry, Frederick and Mary Nerney and Barbara Taylor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours in THE FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main St. (Route 152), in Attleboro on Monday, May 14, 2007, from 6:00-8:00PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00PM.
