View Tribute and Sign Guestbook SOMERSET, MA – Susan Santos, 85, of Somerset, died Monday, January 18, 2010, at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. Born in Somerset, the daughter of the late John and Francisca (Ferreira) Quental, she was the wife of the late John Santos.
Mrs. Santos was employed at the Catholic Memorial Home for twenty-one years, retiring in 1987. She was a communicant of Saint John of God Parish in Somerset and also was a member of the Somerset Senior Center and enjoyed playing bingo.
She leaves two daughters, Monica Buckley and her husband Daniel of Somerset and Elizabeth O’Neill and her husband Thomas of Fall River; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late David A. Santos.
Funeral Information
Her funeral service will be held Monday, January 25, 2010, at 8:00am from the HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME for FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am in Saint John of God Parish. 996 Brayton Ave., Somerset with burial to follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours with Video Photo Album will be Sunday, January 24, from 3:00-6:00pm in the funeral home.
