View Tribute and Sign Guestbook NORTON – Florence W. (Dunham) Schriever, 83, of West Main St., Norton, died Monday, May 25, 2009, at home. Born in North Attleboro, a daughter of the late Gordon & Mary (Chaisson) Dunham, she was the wife of the late Ralph J Schriever.
Mrs. Schriever was a machine operator at Texas Instruments Co. for over seventeen years, before retiring in 1984. A resident of Norton since 1990, having relocated from North Attleboro, she enjoyed crocheting and playing Bingo. Florence will be remembered as a very charitable person, known for the Afghans she made for church donations. She was a very special person, whose greatest joy was giving of herself; she loved spending time with her family, children, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, a son, Ralph E. Schriever of Oviedo, Florida; four daughters, Barbara Ball of Mashpee, MA, Virginia Twiraga of Norton, MA, Joan Schriever of Cape Cod, MA, and Carol Clark of Norton; a sister, Marie Rondeau of Seekonk, MA; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Charles Dunham, Gordon Dunham, Ethel McLean, Catherine Daley, Frances Guy, Dorothy Monse, and Helen LaCombe.
Funeral Information
Her funeral service will be held Friday, May 29, 2009, at 10:00AM in the FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 S. Main St., Attleboro, MA, with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 28, from 4:00–7:00PM.
